About Aaron
Well, hello there! You'd like to know a bit more about me, eh? That seems reasonable. Here's the scoop...

I first got into game design back when the makers of the PC game Thief: The Dark Project (1998) released the game's level editor to the public. I became involved with an online community of designers who made their own missions for Thief. I had an absolute blast creating several of my own!

I've been in the animation industry since 2006, working on games such as Mortal Kombat, Gears of War, Call of Duty, Uncharted, and Resident Evil. I've worked on a few movies too: Ant-Man and the Wasp, Spider-Man: Far from Home, Black Adam, and Invictus (here's my IMDB page).

I began designing board games back in 2015, starting with an idea that came to me suddenly while I was getting a haircut. I've made over 20 games since then and am still learning so much about the craft. Personally, I strive to make games that are elegant, interactive, and create a memorable experience.

Some of the board games I love to play are:
Mechs vs. Minions
Carcassonne
Glen More 2
Near and Far
Gloomhaven
Super Motherload
El Grande
Gizmos
Santorini
Sky Team

Besides being a game designer, I've also written a few books about creativity:
Done!: Finish Your Creative Project in One Month

And I have a website focused on creativity and related topics: creativeandbeyond.com
